ICSO 2025-26: Check Exam Date, Registration, Syllabus & Sample Papers

Students can appear in the SOF ICSO 2025-26 exam if they fulfil the following eligibility criteria:

• Only students of SOF-registered schools can apply for the ICSO.
• A student must be in or between classes 1 to 10 to be eligible for ICSO 2025-26.
• Students who submitted the ICSO application form along with the fee before the deadline can appear for the exam.

• Students will have to be enrolled in a school to be eligible for the International Computer Science Olympiad (ICSO). 
• Students cannot apply and appear in the Olympiad individually. 
• School students have to take the ICSO application form 2025-26 from their school. 
• They are required to fill out the complete form and submit it to the school authorities along with the due fees.
• Students of India, Bangladesh, Bhutan & Nepal need to pay an SOF registration fee of Rs 125* (including GST) per student. Apart from this, the school may charge an additional Rs 25 per student towards the honorarium of charge, remuneration to teachers to teach and guide, and other expenses.

Students should know the exam pattern to prepare better for the SOF IEO exam 2025. The exam will be held for 1 hour, students need to answer a total of 35 questions.

Mock tests and sample papers are highly recommended to prepare for SOF ICSO 2025. They help them figure out the exam pattern, syllabus, standard of questions, etc. It will help aspirants to do self-analysis. Try to solve as many mock tests and sample papers as possible.

To prepare for the International Computer Science Olympiad 2025-26, students are advised to devote time to each section and practice as much as they can. Here are some preparation tips for ICSO 2025-26: 

• Practice reading: In the reading comprehension section, candidates will have to spend quite a while reading large passages and answering questions. To have an edge over others, practice reading and comprehension from early on.
• Try to understand what the question is asking for: Questions in the olympiad will be tricky, and you need to understand what the question is asking for, rather than beating around the bush. Especially in comprehension, being aware of what the question is asking goes a long way.
• Complete the syllabus: Try to complete the syllabus at least a month before the exam, and after that, focus on revision. Make sure all doubts are clear, and connect with the teachers to understand the complex concepts easily.
• Practice from sample papers: If you seriously want to score well in ICSO 2025-26, practising with sample papers and giving mock tests is very important.
• Study plan: You should make a study plan for ICSO 2025-26, which incorporates all the above points. Study plans are important to give your hard work the right direction.

The admit card for SOF ICSO 2025-26 will be released through the school. SOF ICSO admit card includes important details, such as name, enrollment number and exam schedule, among others. Students make sure to carry their ICSO admit card, otherwise, they won’t be allowed to sit for the SOF ICSO exam 2025-26.

Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF) will release the ICSO 2025-26 answer key for classes 1-10 in October, November 2025, and February 2026, for all Sets A, B, and C, respectively. The answer key will be made available online through the official website. Candidates can use the same to know the probable scores before the result.

SOF ICSO 2025-26 result will be declared in March 2026. Students will be able to check their IEO result by entering their roll number. They can access the ICSO SOF result through the official website.

The SOF ICSO cut-off will be released online through the official website, sofworld.org. The cut-off for Class 1 to 10 will be released, and students scoring the same marks will be prioritised on the basis of section-wise scores.
